HTML Author

Instead of sending information to a few people with Applixware Mail, you may wish to publish it for many people. One way of doing that in the Internet age is to convert it to HTML, and put it on a web server. While some of the Applixware Office tools can save to HTML format, Applixware HTML Author is the tool Applixware Office provides for writing HTML. For the most part, it works like Applixware Words, though customized for working with HTML. Some of these customizations include extensions, as opposed to changes made with Applixware Preferences. I generally dislike WYSIWYG HTML authoring tools, as what you get may not be what your readers get, and I prefer to remain aware of that. With that in mind, HTML Author seems to do an acceptable job. I would not recommend it for extensive web work, but it should work quite well for converting a document prepared with the other Applixware office tools for presentation on the web.
