The corners of HTML 2.0
I have put together three pages to try and illuminate some of the
dustier corners of HTML 2.0. Corners that browser implementers tend to ignore.
These pages are:
- Some common bugs
- If you've released a browser in 1995,there really isn't any excuse
for getting the things on this page wrong. However, a lot of
browsers just don't measure up.
- The SGML macro facility
- Most browser don't implement the SGML macro facility, though at
least one browser does.
- Some really obscure SGML features
- This page uses some of the more obscure things that going from
sort-of-like SGML to real SGML makes available in HTML. Don't expect
browsers to get these right for a while.
