I've found out - by first-hand experience - that raising a family, though the most common hack of all, is also the most time-consuming. I don't expect to have lots of time for other hacks until the kids are out of the house.
My current major time sinks are:
Paul William, my eldest son. Born in 1988,
he's large for his age, and gets very upset when I point out that he
doesn't rule the house. He's got his own web
pages now.
Alan Ambrosious, my youngest (and last). Born
in 1991, he actually does rule the house. I just don't let him know.
